Welcome to quaderno ("We", "Platform"). Before using this platform, we ask you to carefully read the following Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). These terms establish the rights and obligations you have when using our Services (website, mobile page, social networks, web application, mobile application, newsletter) as well as our policies. By accessing, registering, or using quaderno, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you accept these Terms and use the Services on behalf of another person (such as another individual or entity), you declare that you are authorized to do so, and in that case, these Terms include that other person or entity.
Usage of the platform
Registration: To use the platform, you must be at least 13 (thirteen) years old, register, and create a personal account. You must provide accurate and updated information during the registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activities that occur under your username and password.
User Content: By using quaderno, you agree that you are solely responsible for the content you post. You must ensure that any shared content complies with all applicable laws and regulations and must not infringe the rights of third parties or contain offensive, defamatory, obscene, or illegal material.
Intellectual Property: You acknowledge and agree that the platform and its content, including texts, graphics, logos, images, videos, audios, and software, are protected by intellectual property rights. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce any part of the platform without our express written permission.
quaderno may review your conduct and content to ensure compliance with these Terms and reserves the right to remove any non-compliant content.
quaderno reserves the right to remove or disable content that is alleged to infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties, as well as to terminate the accounts of repeat infringers. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the law; inform such notices using our Copyright Policy.
Rights and Ownership
You retain the rights to any content you submit, post, or display on the Services.
Unless agreed upon in writing, by submitting, posting, or displaying content on the Services, you grant quaderno a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, publish, translate, distribute, and display your content, as well as any name, username, or image provided in connection with your content, in all media formats and distribution methods now known or developed later on the Services.
quaderno needs this license because you own your content, and quaderno cannot display it on its different platforms (i.e., mobile, web) without your permission.
This type of license is also necessary to distribute your content through our Services. For example, when you post an article on our platform, it is distributed and displayed throughout the platform, including mobile and web. Your article may be part of reading lists, recommendations, newsletters, and social networks.
As long as you comply with these Terms, quaderno grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to access and use our Services.
These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Services, the content of other users on the Services, or the trademarks, logos, or other brand features of quaderno.
We reserve the right to stop providing the Services or any features of them at our sole discretion. We also reserve the right to set usage and storage limits and to remove or restrict the distribution of content on the Services.
Liability and Limitations
User Responsibility: You are responsible for any actions you take on the platform and for any content you post. We are not liable for the consequences of your use of the platform.
Platform Availability: We strive to keep the platform accessible continuously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform scheduled maintenance or interrupt access to the platform for technical reasons.
Third-Party Links: The platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the availability, content, advertising, policies, products, or services of these third parties. The use of these links is at your own risk.
Privacy

Modifications and Account Deletion

Contests
Participation in Contests
All registered users on quaderno.app can participate in the contests organized on our platform. Participation requires that the submission competes within the specific theme of the contest. For example, if the contest is about literature, the content of the submission must be literary. Submissions that do not align with the theme will be disqualified.
Selection Process
The winners of the contests will be the submissions that receive the most "likes" ❤️. It's possible that more than one of the winning submissions belong to the same user, as the submissions compete individually, and each user can participate with more than one submission.
In Case of a Tie in the Number of “Likes”
The winner will be the submission that entered the contest first.
Prizes
The prizes will be detailed in each contest, as they may vary depending on the theme. The delivery of the prizes will be arranged directly with the winner, choosing the option that is most convenient for both parties. Quaderno commits to contacting the winners via email.
In case the winner resides outside of Argentina and the prize cannot be delivered in its original form, they will be awarded a gift card equivalent to the value of the prize in dollars. The conversion will be made using the average purchase and sale of the MEP Dollar on the day of the contest's completion, according to the quotation published in Ámbito Financiero.
User Responsibilities
Participating users are responsible for respecting the current contest rules, copyright laws, and avoiding plagiarism, both in content and images. Additionally, they must comply with all the provisions set out in these Terms and Conditions. In case of non-compliance, Quaderno reserves the right to remove or disable the content.
Disqualification and Exclusion
A participant may be disqualified for plagiarism, copyright infringement, content that does not adhere to contest rules, or content that violates our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
Privacy and Data Usage
The names of the winners will be published on our social media and newsletter, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Quaderno will use the email addresses chosen by users during registration on the platform to directly contact the winners of the contest.
Modifications and Cancellations
We reserve the right to modify or cancel a contest at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to unforeseen circumstances, administrative errors, or technical problems. In the event of modification or cancellation, participants will be notified by email and our social media.
Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless quaderno and our officers, directors, agents, partners, and employees (individually and collectively, the "Parties of quaderno") from and against any losses, liabilities, claims, demands, damages, expenses, or costs ("Claims") arising from or related to your violation, misuse, or infringement of any right of another person (including intellectual property rights or privacy rights) or your violation of the law. You agree to promptly notify the Parties of quaderno of any third-party Claims, cooperate with the Parties of quaderno in the defense of such Claims, and pay all fees, costs, and expenses associated with the defense of such Claims (including attorney's fees). Additionally, you agree that the Parties of quaderno shall have control of the defense or settlement, at quaderno's sole option, of any third-party Claims.
General Provisions
Applicable Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the country where our company is registered.
Entire Agreement: These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the platform and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
